About the club

The Berlin Hash House Harriers (BH3) is a social running club that meets every Sunday in various locations around Berlin.

The club was founded in 1979 by members of the Royal Irish Rangers.

Known humorously as "A Drinking Club with a Running Problem"

Follows the Hash House Harrier tradition of combining running with social drinking

We hash names for members instead of real names

Meeting Times and Location:

Sundays at 15:45 (3:45 PM) in Summertime ☀️

Sundays at 14:45 (2:45 PM) in Wintertime ❄️

Locations vary but are always accessible by public transport

Who can join?

Mixed group of all ages (20 to 80) and genders

Non-competitive runs with a mix of fast and slow runners, and even walkers

Run Details

Runs are typically around 8 km with one or more stops

Trails are laid in a "hare and hounds" style, resembling a Schnitzeljagd (scavenger hunt)

Includes planned stops for drinks, playing in parks, or swimming in lakes

Costs and Requirements

5€ fee per run

, covering beer on trail and post-run refreshments

Participants should bring running gear
